Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the 30A Paddleboards website and your rental of paddleboards from 30A Paddleboards LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we," "us," "our"). By making a reservation, you agree to these terms.

1. Service

We rent stand-up paddleboards and related equipment, with delivery and pickup along Florida's Emerald Coast (30A, Destin, Miramar Beach, and Fort Walton Beach). We are not a tour or guided lesson provider unless explicitly stated.

2. Reservations and pricing

All rentals must be reserved in advance through this website or by calling us. Prices listed on our site are per board and exclude Florida sales tax (currently 7%). The total shown at checkout is the amount you will be charged.

3. Payment

Full payment is due at the time of reservation and is processed securely through Stripe. We do not accept cash for online reservations. Prices are in U.S. dollars.

4. Cancellation and refunds

• 24+ hours before your rental: full refund, no questions asked.
• Within 24 hours of your rental: refund minus a $20 cancellation fee. Late cancellations cost us a delivery slot we can't easily refill.
• Weather: if we cancel for unsafe conditions (lightning, dangerous surf, named tropical systems), you receive a full refund or a free reschedule, your choice — no fee.
• No-shows: non-refundable.

To cancel, visit our Cancellation page or call us. Refunds are issued back to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days.

5. Delivery and pickup

We deliver to the address you provide and pick up at the end of your rental window. You are responsible for being present at delivery to receive the equipment, sign the waiver (if not already signed digitally), and receive a brief safety overview. If you are not present at the agreed delivery time, we may attempt to reschedule or treat the rental as a no-show at our discretion.

6. Use of equipment

You agree to:

• Use the equipment safely and only for its intended purpose
• Wear the provided personal flotation device (PFD) as required by Florida law (children under 6 must wear one at all times on the water)
• Not paddle while under the influence of alcohol, cannabis, or any impairing substance
• Stay within reasonable proximity of shore and avoid restricted areas, shipping lanes, and posted no-paddleboard zones
• Not attempt to ride waves at surfing-only beaches
• Return the equipment in the condition you received it, allowing for ordinary wear

7. Damage, loss, and theft

You are responsible for damage to the equipment beyond ordinary wear, and for loss or theft while in your possession. We may charge the credit card on file for repair or replacement at the rates posted in our delivery materials.

8. Liability waiver

Paddleboarding is an inherently risky activity. As a condition of rental, every adult participant must sign our liability waiver, and a parent or legal guardian must sign on behalf of any minor under 18. 9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, our total liability for any claim arising from a rental is limited to the amount you paid for that rental. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Intellectual property

The 30A Paddleboards name, logo, photos, and website content are our property. You may not reproduce them for commercial purposes without our written permission.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your rental will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Walton County or Okaloosa County, Florida.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your reservation governs that rental. Material changes will be posted on this page.
